County Property were delighted to attend the opening ceremony of the Hannah Russell Gym and the new tower, Olympian Heights, at Barratt Homes’ New Central on Friday 22nd February.
County Property are the recommended lettings agent for New Central and have so far let more than 60 properties in the development, which has proven exceptionally popular with buy-to-let investors and tenants.
As part of the opening ceremony, Paralympics swimmer, Hannah Russell, unveiled the resident's gym and Olympian Heights - a twenty one story landmark tower and the most prestigious section of the New Central development.
The unveiling was attended by the Mayor of Woking, the Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council, senior representatives of Barratt Homes and various other dignitaries and local business people, including County Property’s Senior Manager, Louise Beardmore, Lettings Manager, James Guyton and Flexi Apartments Account Manager, Cathy Mansfield.
New Central represents fantastic buy-to-let opportunities for investor landlords and properties are available to buy in the current release from £140,000. As County Property’s Lettings Manager, James Guyton explains: “Providing both stable rental income and capital growth opportunities for investors, properties at New Central can achieve rents from £700-£1,350 per month, with gross yields of up to 6.85% achievable. New Central is fast becoming the preferred apartment block for both long and short term tenancies in Woking and we believe rental demand will remain strong.

“The new tower - Olympian Heights - contains a stunning collection of one, two and three
bedroom apartments with far reaching views on all sides: over the town, towards London and the surrounding countryside. We have already let more than 60 properties at New Central since
November 2011 and will be delighted to advise prospective landlords on how to make a successful investment in this exciting development.”
